Facts and figures

"Chelmsford South" is a group of twenty-two  Anglican churches, covering an area from Boreham to Ramden Bellhouse and from Moulsham to South Woodham Ferrars.  Around 1100 people attend these churches on an average Sunday.  They are usually served by 14 full-time clergy, one of whom is appointed as "Rural Dean"; the Rural Dean gives leadership in concert with the Lay Chair.  Click here  to find out more.  This is also where you can find out dates and venues of future meetings.  We'll also post important links on this page - for example, to deanery and parish websites, and blogs maintained by Chelmsford South church members.
